Margaret Howell, BSN, RN, IHP, CCMC

Owner & Operator

True healing begins with a practitioner who understands the journey—not just from a textbook, but from lived experience.

Margaret is a New York–licensed Registered Nurse who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2013. Over the past decade, she has built a high-level clinical foundation designed to bridge traditional medicine with whole-person healing:

  • BSN, RN (Registered Nurse): Formally trained in evidence-based care, high-acuity assessment, and patient safety, ensuring every care plan is rooted in rigorous clinical excellence.

  • CCMC (Certified Case Manager): Specially certified to navigate complex healthcare systems, coordinate multi-provider care teams, and advocate for patients during critical care transitions.

  • IHP (Integrative Health Practitioner & Holistic Coach): Trained in root-cause wellness, blending functional health principles, nervous system regulation, and targeted lifestyle support alongside conventional medical care.

Margaret’s path to integrative care was forged through her own medical challenges. After surviving a decade-long misdiagnosis of epilepsy in her youth and a grueling four-year battle with three tick-borne infections, she learned firsthand how overwhelming, fragmented, and lonely the healthcare system can feel. Turning to functional medicine, nervous system regulation, and targeted nutraceuticals, she reclaimed her health—and found a lifelong commitment to root-cause healing.

During her years in home care nursing, Margaret also discovered a natural joy and passion for wound care, earning a reputation for exceptional clinical outcomes and compassionate bedside support. However, her deepest transformation as a nurse occurred when she stepped away from her traditional career to become her father’s full-time home nurse.

Managing end-stage renal disease (ESRD) using the NxStage home hemodialysis machine alongside chronic respiratory acidosis requiring daily BiPAP support, Margaret delivered ICU-level clinical care in the place her father loved most. It was the most fulfilling work of her life. Navigating his care through his passing in March 2026—and walking through the intense challenge of grief that has followed—forever reshaped her mission. It gave her a profound understanding of the caregiver's burden, an urge to help families capture and honor their loved ones' stories, and an unshakeable empathy for those navigating caregiving transitions.

Today, Margaret offers something rare in modern healthcare: a steady, highly skilled clinical partner who truly listens. When you work with Margaret, you aren't just gaining an exceptional clinical mind—you are gaining a trusted advocate who walks beside you with unwavering reliability, clarity, and heart.
