2. Registered Nursing Scope, Professional Licensure & Business Insurance

Margaret Howell is a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of New York. Margaret Howell, Registered Nurse, PLLC is a fully insured business, maintaining comprehensive professional liability and commercial business insurance coverage.

However, accessing the Site, viewing Content, or participating in general educational offerings does NOT create a professional Nurse-Patient relationship between you and Margaret Howell or Margaret Howell, Registered Nurse, PLLC.

A. Remote RN Health Consultations

Remote consultations are designed for health education, nursing assessment, care coordination guidance, and health advocacy support. Remote consultations do not constitute hands-on clinical care or emergency medical intervention. Tele-nursing support is provided in accordance with New York State nursing regulations and applies only where legally permitted.

B. Wound Care & Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Hands-on clinical nursing services, including Wound Care and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), are provided exclusively in-person within the State of New York under applicable NYS nursing scope of practice.

These specialized services require a formal, signed clinical care agreement and an initial nursing assessment.
Certain medical conditions (e.g., active infections, vascular disease, severe congestive heart failure, acute deep vein thrombosis, or unmanaged lymphedema) may require physician clearance or a physician’s order prior to receiving Wound Care or MLD services.

C. Remote Caregiver Mentoring

Caregiver mentoring services provide education, stress management strategies, navigation support, and practical caregiving advice. Mentoring is intended for educational and supportive purposes only and does not constitute mental health therapy, professional counseling, legal advice, or direct medical management for the individual being cared for.

4. Establishment of the Nurse-Patient Relationship

A formal Nurse-Patient relationship with Margaret Howell, Registered Nurse, PLLC is established ONLY after you have:

Executed a separate, signed Written Service Agreement / Informed Consent form specific to RN care or consultations; and
Completed the required intake process and paid for specific professional services.

Simply browsing this Site, filling out a contact form, sending an email, or purchasing downloadable digital materials does NOT establish a nurse-patient relationship.
